Autism & ASC

What We Do
We provide person-centred support for people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), recognising that every person has their own strengths, needs, preferences and way of experiencing and engaging with the world.
We take time to understand each person’s communication, sensory needs, routines, interests and what matters most to them. This enables us to provide consistent, personalised support that builds trust, promotes wellbeing and encourages greater independence.
Our approach is shaped around the person – creating the right support and environment to help them feel understood, confident and in control of their everyday life.
How We Support People
We provide structured and consistent support shaped around how each person communicates, processes information and responds to their environment.
Where appropriate, our teams use approaches including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Active Support, Total Communication, Intensive Interaction, trauma-informed care and low-arousal approaches to promote communication, engagement and positive outcomes.
We consider sensory needs, routines and changes carefully, providing predictability while supporting people to build confidence, develop skills and access new opportunities at a pace that works for them.
Working alongside the person, their family and relevant professionals, we focus on building positive relationships and enabling people to make choices, develop greater independence and participate meaningfully in their community.
